tion, and I heartily crave your Advice and Assistance in this
Juncture that for the future every Member of the Province
may enjoy the Fruits of his Labour and Industry in Peace &
Satisfaction.
Never let us be mistaken, Gentlemen in each other, but
strive jointly & heartily to serve the Country the best and
most judicious way we can & oppose whatever may be im-
agined prejudicial to it in any one Instance whatsoever.
Which being ended Mr Speaker & the Members return to
their House, and Mr Speaker having taken the Chair he
returned them Thanks for the Honour done him in their
Choice promising them to discharge that great Trust laid
upon him according to the best of his Ability.
Ordered that the Speaker & Delegates of Assembly meet
at the House of Colo Dorsey in Annapolis every Day during
this Session at Eight in the morning & sit till Twelve in the
Afternoon and from two till four. And ordered that Notice
be given by Beat of Drum twice in the Morning and once
in the Afternoon And likewise that Mr Wooten the Minister
be desired to attend for Prayers at Eight oClock in the. Morn-
ing and at tolling the Bell in the Afternoon.
Nothing else at Present lying before the House they
adjourn till Eight O' Clock to Morrow Morning.

Wednesday 6th Decemr 1704.

The House met again according to Adjournment, being
called over were all present as Yesterday, only Mr Henry
Coursey sick.

Mr Hugh Eccleston, Mr John Taylor, Mr John Hudson, &
Mr Joseph Ennalls, members for Dorchester County enter the
House and take their Places.

Ordered That his Excellency's Speech made last Night be
read in the House which was done accordingly.

And ordered it be again read and considered of in the
Afternoon.

Mr William Dare, Mr Thomas Frisby, & Mr William Pearce
members for Cecil County enters the House & take their
Places.

Moved by a Member on what Terms the Assembly sit in
Colo Dorsey's House Colo Dorsey informs them it was by an
Agreement wch lyes in the Hands of Colo Hammond but
forasmuch as Colo Dorsey, the Landlord being present in the
House offers his House & Lot belonging to it at Rate of
twenty Pounds Sterling Rent for one year certain & so for a
longer Time if the House think fit at the Expiration of the
