Lieut Col James Maxwell and Major Greenberry come with
Mr William Taylard whom they present to his Excy from the
House as chosen to be their Clerk.
His Excy was Pleased to admitt thereof and accordingly Mr
Taylard was sworn in presence of the said members
Col Smallwood and Mr Young presented several members
newly come to the House to be sworn vizt Mr Robt Gouldes-
borough Mr Thos Greenfield Major John Taylor Mr Joseph
Ennals and Mr John Hudson who had the oaths administred
to them together with the Test which they signed according
to Law
Mr Muschamp and Majr Taylor come from the House to
acquaint his Excy that their House wait his Excys Commands
Mr Sanders and Col Ennalls sent to the House to acquaint
them that his Excy commands their attendance at the Council
Board who Return and Say that they delivered their Message
Then came Mr Speaker and the members of the house of
Delegates to whom his Excy spake as before concerted with
her Majesty's honble Council
The Council adjourned for two Hours.
Post Meridiem The Council sat Present as in the morning.
His Excy being acquainted that Mr Joseph Holt Minister of
