Lieu^t Col James Maxwell and Major Greenberry come with
M^r William Taylard whom they present to his Excy from the
House as chosen to be their Clerk.

His Ex^cy was Pleased to admitt thereof and accordingly M^r

Taylard was sworn in presence of the said members

Col Smallwood and M^r Young presented several members
newly come to the House to be sworn viz^t M^r Rob^t Gouldes-
borough M^r Tho^s Greenfield Major John Taylor M^r Joseph
Ennals and M^r John Hudson who had the oaths administred
to them together with the Test which they signed according
to Law

M^r Muschamp and Maj^r Taylor come from the House to
acquaint his Exc^y that their House wait his Exc^ys Commands

M^r Sanders and Col Ennalls sent to the House to acquaint
them that his Ex^cy commands their attendance at the Council
Board who Return and Say that they delivered their Message

Then came M^r Speaker and the members of the house of
Delegates to whom his Exc^y spake as before concerted with
her Majesty's honble Council

The Council adjourned for two Hours.
