his Excellency Francis Nicholson Esqr Governour thereof shall
be good and effectuall in the law to all Intents Construccons
and purposes whatsoever any discontinuance of process or
other Defects in the said proceedings notwithstanding
And be it further Enacted by the Authority Advice and
Consent aforesaid that all Writts Pleas Process Accons bills
Suites Indictments informations ludgments Decrees and Sen-
tences given or awarded of and Concerning any Matter or
thing whatsoever which was sued or prosecuted to Judgment
in any of the Courts of Record Chancery Comissarys and
Admiralty Courts within this province at any time or times
from the demise of his late Majesty King William the third of
blessed Memary to the end of this Sessions of Assembly Not-
withstanding the want of any Jurisdiction or Authority in the
said Courts shall be good and effectual in the law to all Intents
Constructions and purposes whatsoever
Provided allways that this Act or anything therein Contain'd
shall not be Construed to extend to take away such Errors in
Law as shall or may arise upon in issuing of Process Mis-

pleading and Erroneous rendring of Judgment in poynt of
Law but in all such Cases the partys greived may have their
Writt or Writts of Error upon such erroneous Judgments as
they might have had before the making of this Act.

On the behalf of her Majesty &c I will this be a Law
Jo : Seymour

An Act providing what shall be Evidence to prove fforeign
and other Debts and to prevent Vexatious and unnecessary
Suites In law And pleading discounts in barr.

Be it Enacted by the Queens most excellent Maty by and
with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys Governour
Councill and Assembly of this Province and the Authority of
the same That all Debts of Record whether by Judgment
Recognizances Deed Enrolled and upon Record the Exempli-
fication thereof under the Seale of the Courts where the said
Judgment was given or was Recorded shall be a Sufficient
Evidence to prove the same And that all other Debts by bonds
