Read & approovd of by the house & orderd it be sent up
to the Councill to morrow Morning.
The house Adjourns till to Morrow morning 8 A Clock.

Tuesday 8ber 3d 1704.

The house mett againe According to Adjournmt being calld
over were present as Yesterday.

The Engrost bill for regulating Officers fees Endorsd. And
the Message prepard last night relating to it were Sent up to
the honoble Councill by Mr Charles Greenberry Mr Ino Iones
& Mr Iohn Leach

They returne and Say they deliverd the same.

The Honoble Iohn Hamond Edward Lloyd Esqrs enters the
house and delivers Mr Speaker the following Message Vizt

By the Councill in Assembly Octob 3d 1704

The message by Coll Smith and others with your Iournall
of Comittee of Accounts to which is Subscribed your Condi-
conall Assent has been perused & Considerd by this board
Whereupon wee are Sorry to finde the little notice you take
of What his Excy was pleasd so Gratiously and Frankly to tell
you the other day that he would make noe bargaines desired
not yor bounty but requird Your Iustice Wherefore if you
thinke Wee haue Courted Your condescention in Allowing of
tobacco at 10s p Cent Wee hereby lett you know that wee are
not for any Allowance this Sessions to be made in money but
are inclinable to Advise his Excy that the money now in banke
be reservd for the Countrey Service on Greater emergency's
You are not Willing to forsee, Your Allowance out of the
three pence p hhd for Arms of particuler Sums is not within
Your province therefore ought to be expunged.

Which being read this house Resolves they will consider
The Honoble Edward Lloyd Esqr enters the house and
delivers Mr Speaker the following message
