Wherein Your hono" Concurrence is prayd that it may be
made parte of the law for Selling Officers fees

By the Councill in Assembly Septr 13 1704
This board are Allready Sencible of A very good law of
this province Empowring the Justices to Setle such rules and
fees as they think reasonable And do beleive such Iustices are
propper Iudges therefore doe Allow only such as Are reason-
able Neither haue Wee Ever heard of any Act of Parliamt
Setling Attorneys fees in England but that they are Allways
Setled by discretion of the Courts Where such Attorneys

Bill for Apporconing the publiq leavy etc.
Bill for limittacon of Officers fees.
Read the Ist and 2d time & by Especiall order do pass
The house Adjourne till 2 A Clock in the Afternoone.

The house met Againe According to Adjournmt being calld
over were prsent as in the morning.
The honob Coll Ino Hamond and Kenelm Cheseldyn Esqr
enters the house And delivers Mr Speaker 2 Messages And
the Address to her Sacred Majesty Vizt

Your Message by Mr Iones and Mr Magruder is Agreed to
by this board And Wee desire the Address may be sent up
to be signd Wee haue sent the other Address to her Majesty
of Which Wee desire Your Approbation And that you would
Amend the Same if You think fitt.
