By the house of Delegate Septr 28th 1704

Wee haue considerd Your hono's Message by Coll Hamond
and Are sorry yor honors will not loyne in the Address Since
You are pleasd to say You think it necessary to prevent Any
Eminent danger And Wee cannot beleive our Agent has so
little Vallue of us As to let it lye dormant by him when wee
Give him the Assurance of paying What he disburses for us
in laying it before her Majesty Which wee Allways proposd
to doe.
yor honors are pleas'd to say You haue Adrest her Majty on
that Subject And wee doubt not but Your honours Expect it
to take Effect And Yet wee haue not heard of Any Sume of
money raisd or any person Appointed to goe with it And wee
hope this may Goe alsoe If Yor honors please Wee Againe
humbly offer our Selves in the Address And hope Wee shall
be discharg'd of any Misfortune that may Attend the Non
Addressing since Wee are ready to loyne in it
The Aboue was Writt before his Excy commanded our
Attendance And what he was pleasd to say we haue Considerd
And with all dutifull respect to his Exoy wee Cant see cause
to recced And Shalbe Glad if hisExcy will please to loyne with
us in the Address.

Orderd the foregoeing Message be sent up to the Councill
by Mr Wm Frisby Mr Nicholas Low And Mr Iames Phillips.
They returne and say they deliverd the same.

The Aboue Engrost bills being read & Assented to by the
house were Sent up to the Councill by Mr Ino Hudson and Mr
Iohn Taylor.
