Gent Your Message of the 15 Instant touching An house
to be built for her Majts Governor being this day read at the
Board His Excy was pleasd to declare that he could never
Consent to Appropriate that Which was Given for soe publiq
A benefitt to the province, As the Supplying them with Arms
and Amunition (of which they cann never haue too great A
Store) to his owne private Accomodacon and Advantage
Therefore wee desire that Some other Measure may be taken
to Answer her Majts Royall instructions either in building such
house or Assigning to his Excy the Governor A compet'
Sume of Money for rent thereof.

Which Message was brought from the Councill by the honob
Thos Tench Francis lenkins Edward Loyd Esqrs. And being
read in this house Resolvd it be referrd for further Consider-
ation

Bill rectifying the ill practises of Attorneys.

Bill relating to Servants and Slaues.

Bill for encouragemt to build Water mills.

Read the 1st & 2d time & p Especiall order do pass.

Bill Against horse raceing on Saturdays.

Being read And debated in the house.

Put to the Question Whither it pass or be rejected.

Carryd by Majority of Votes it be rejected.

But the latter clause in the Same being good & Necessary
It is Resolvd that it be Added to another law.
