Baltemore And that he gave publiq notice thereof and he
produced and Gave in A Coppy of such publiq notice and says
the reason why his Lopp requires 240' more then formerly
was because one halfe of the fees due to his Lopps officers on
such Warrants and Grants was taken from them & Given to
her Majts Secretary But that if it may be thought fitt to restore
the land records and the fees to his Lopps officers that Addico-
nall 240 shall imediatly be taken of and noe more required
and only such fees as were formerly requir'd for the same And
that the said Records shall be put in such persons hands to
keep as Shall from time to time be approovd of by his Excy
and an oath and Good Securely Given for the faithfull and
carefull keeping the same.
Thereupon Mr Carroll withdrew and this being debated
Orderd A message thereon be sent his Excy
Bill to enable Coll Dorsey to sell land &c.
