In answer to the message of Mr Leach Mr Young & Mr
Macall to desire his Excy to Ioyne some of the Members of
this house to consider the evills that may redound to her
Majts Interest and this province by the designe hinted to be
formed against our Constitucon Orderd that Mr Tench Mr
Brooke Mr Smith Mr Cheseldyn & Mr Coursey Joyne the
Comittee of the house so Soone as they are ready.

Which being read Its Resolvd that Mr Nicholas Lowe Mr
Wm Frisby Mr Iohn Leach and Mr Hugh Ecleston Joyne with
the Members of the honoble Councill on the Subject proposd
and orderd to Attend them in the Afternoone.
Upon mocon made to the house on behalfe of Thomas
Reading printer that he may be lycens'd to print his Excys
Speech and the houses answer to the same.
Jts Resolvd he be lycensd so to doe likewise proposd that
he may be constituted publiq printer to print all laws and other
publiq matters Which being debated this house Resolves he
be constituted printer first Giving bond with Securely to be-
have himselfe in that Office.
The Comittee of Agreivances enters the house and preferrs
to the house A Iournall of their proceedings which was orderd
to be entred.

Which members met Accordingly and made choice of
Thomas Greenfeild Esqr to be their Chairman and Appointed
Ino Collins to serve as Clerk:
Whereas by the information of A member of the honoble
house of Delegates for Cecill County who applys to this
Comittee as well on his owne behalfe as on the behalfe of this
neighbours inhabitants of Cecill County it appeares that
severall Gent not residing in the Aforesaid County have
quarters and plantations there whereat they keep negroes
Molattoes and other Slaves under such overseers who Allow
them not only the privileidge of Gunns doggs and Amunicon
but of using such their Instruments without the bounds of
