the defence of the province And that they appear at Arms at
All times as they shalbe requird wch Wee do propose that this
Assembly would oblidge those who pretend for Conscience
sake they cannot bear Arms to supply others with horses and
Arms
3. That A law be made to punish false musters Mutiny
and desertion And for the better preserving Good discipline
among Souldiers.
4. That fitt Storehouses be Setled throughout the Prov-
ince for keeping Arms Amunicon and other publiq Stores.
5. That A Genll Survey be made of the whole province
and of every County and of All landing places and harbours
And Exact mapps transmitted for Engl and that fortifications
be erected at the publiq charge in Which the Cheerfull Con-
currence of the Assembly is not doubted.
6. That Stocks be provided and publiq work-houses built
in Convenient places for employing poore and indigent people.
7. That an Act be past to relieve the Credittors of persons
becoming bankrupt in England and having Estates in Mary-
land.
8 Further you are desired to make Answer to the Rt
Honoble the Lords of trade and Forreigne phacons Letters
with the Lord Baltemores objections to the two Acts of As-
sembly the one for Acertaining the bounds of land And the
other for limitting the time for payment of obligacons within
this province.
9. It is recomended and proposd whither it may not be
propper to make A law to confirme All proceedings since the
departure of Coll Blackistone to his present Excys Arrivall and
Alsoe of the last Assembly.
10th That it be enquird by this Assembly and Acertain'd
what laws and Statutes of the Kingdome of England are in
force in this province And that measures be taken to haue the
severall Acts of parliament of every Sessions Sent from
England.
11 That encouragement be given to the inhabitants of this
province to Supply the same with rum &ca by exempting them
(being owners of Vessells tho' not Countrey built) from the
payment of the duty of 3d p Gallon.
12. That A law be made by this Assembly to prevent the
importacon by land of rume Wine Strong liquors beer bread
flower and horses from pensilvania. And that encouragement
be given to tillage by the Inhabitants.
13. That this province do throughly Acquaint th'mselves
with the mocons of the piscattaway or Accokick Indians who
do not pay their tribute as Usuall and take such measures
