     To Henry Jowles Thomas Tench, Charles Hutchins, John

   Addison John Courts Thomas Brooke, Robert Smith John

   Hammond and Francis Jenkins Esqrs or any Two of them

  

     By Virtue of the power and Authority to us Given by an

   Act of Parliament made in the first year of the reigne of his

   Maty king William and her late Maty Queen Mary Intituled

   an Act for abrogating the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance

   and Appointing other Oaths, We do hereby Impower, direct

   and Depute you to Administer and tender the Oaths and

   Test Appointed by Act of Parliamt unto Nathaniel Blakiston       p. 166

   Esqr Vice Admirall of his Matys Colony of Maryland whose

   Comission coms herewith and see that he take the said Oaths

   and Subscribe to the Said Test before you Deliver him his

   Commission and returne to this Board his Subscription of the

   Test together with a Certificate under your hands of his

   haveing taken the Said Oaths Given under our hands and
