                 60 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1698/9.

          

      Lib. H D.  remaining fourth part of the Moiety of the Impost be duly

                 Applyed Towards the Maintenance of a Constant Magazine

                 with Arms and Amunition for the Defence of our Said

                 Province and by an by an Order of Councill to pay unto

                 me the Sume of one hundred and fifty Six pounds Seaven

                 teen Shillings Sterl for which this shall be your Sufficient

                 Warrant Given under my hand this fourth day of Aprill

                 in the 12th year of his Matys Reign &c Anoq Dni 1700

                   To George Muschamp Esqr Collr and N: Blakiston

                 Recr of his Matys Customs in the Dis

                 trict of Potomock

           And on the back side whereof was Endorsed thus Vizt

          

          

                          Aprill the 4th 1700

                   Recd the within Contents p me

                                                 N. Blakiston

          

          

                   You are pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Province

                 passed the Twentieth day of September 1694 Entituled an

                 Act for Tonnage And Settling Officers ffees being an

                 Impost of three pence per Ton for every Ton the Severall

         p. 156  Ships Tradeing into this Province are Guaged att And by

                 Virture of an Order of Councill to pay unto me the Sume of

                 Twenty Six pounds four Shillings and three pence Sterling

                 for which this shall be your Sufficient Warrant. Given under

                 my hand this fourth day of Aprill in the 12th year of his Matys

                 Reigne &c Annoq Dni 1700

                   To George Muschamp Esqr Collr and Recr

                 of his Matys Customs in the District of Po- N: Blakiston

                 tomock

                           on the back whereof was Endorsed thus Vizt

          

          

                          Aprill the 4th 1700.

                   Then recd of George Muschamp the Contents within men

                 tioned by me                  N: Blackiston

          

          

                   You are pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Province

                 passed the 18th day of October 1694 Intituled an Act for

                 Setling a Revenue on his Matys present Governor being an

                 Imposition of three pence per hhd upon every hhd of

                 Tobbacco Exported out of this province and by Virtue of an

                 Order of Councill to pay unto me the Sume of thirty Nine

                 pounds four Shillings and 3d pence Sterl for which this shall

                 be yor Sufficient Warrant. Given under my hand this fourth
