        Lib. M.   hundred Eighty Seven Pounds thirteen Shillings and Six

                  Pence Sterling money on Accot of the within Order.

                    To Robert Ungle Esqr            I am

                  Treasurer of the Eastern Shoar     Yr humble Servant

                                                      Rd Tiighman

                   Ordered that W Bennett make Oath of his not having re-

                  ceived any thing in Satisfaction for the Sum above mentioned,

                  which Oath was administred to him in the Words following

                  Viz.

                   Richard Bennett makes Oath on the Holy Evangelists of

                  Almighty God that he hath not received the sum of One hun

                  dred Eighty Seven Pounds thirteen shillings and Six Pence

                  Steri nor any Part thereof due to him upon an Order of Coll

                  Tilghmans drawn by Order of this Board of 27th February

                  1719 on Mr Ungle Treasurer of the Eastern Shoare, neither

                  hath he ever brought it into Accot between them nor received

                  anything in Satisfaction thereof

                   Mr Bennett having taken the Oath abovementioned, and

                 delivered up the former Order of this Board directed to Coll

                 Tiighman, & Endorsed to him & Company; Ordered that the

                 Clerk of this Board draw an Order upon Coll Samuel Young

                 Treasurer of the Western Shoar for the said Sum of One hun

                 dred Eighty Seven Pounds thirteen Shillings & Six Pence

                 Sterling which Order was made out accordingly in the Words

                 following

                              24th July 1729

                         By the Governor & Council

                  Sr

                   Pay unto Richard Bennett Esqr or Order the Sum of One

                 hundred Eighty Seven pounds thirteen shillings and Six Pence

                 Sterling by an Order on Captn John Hyde Merchant in Lon

                 don out of the Money arising from the Duty of Three pence

                 p hhd lodged by you in his hands by Order of this Board on

                 Account of a former Order of this Board received from Coll

                 Richard Tilghman drawn upon Mr Robert Ungle late Trea

                 surer of the Eastern Shoar for the like Sum, the sd Bennet,

                 having made Oath that he hath never received any Part there

                 of, nor anything in Satisfaction of the sd Sum, and which former

                 Order he hath now delivered up £187.. 13.. 6
