     Then Came before me the Subscriber One of His Lordships

    Justices of the Provincial Court Samuel Chamberlain & made

    Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that the above

    is a true Copy from Mr Robert Ungles Books to the best of

    His Knowledge Certifyed before me this 12 h Day of July Anno

    Domini 1729                       Philip Lee.

     Richard Bennett Esqr being called in produces to this

    Board an Order of Coll Tilghman's drawn on Mr Ungle Trea

    surer of the Eastern Shoar payable to himself and Company

    for the Sum of £ 187.. 13.. 6, which Order the Mr Bennett

    says Mr Ungle has never paid him, and also produces an Order

    of this Boards of 27th February 1719 directed to Coll Tilgh

    man in the following Words

                By the Govr and Council

     Ordered that Coll Richard Tilghman treat with and buy

    several Arms that are offered to be sold by Mr Richard Ben

    nett & Captn Pattison, and that the sd Coll Tilghman draw up

    on the Publick Treasurers or Either of them for the Money

    that He shall agree for, for the sd Arms, And the sd freasurer

    or Either of them are hereby required to pay the same upon

    the sd Coll Tiighmans Order out of the Money due from them

    for Arms                    John Beale Cl Con.
