    hundred Eighty Seven pounds thirteen Shillings and Six         Lib. M.

    Pence Sterling Money on Accot of the within Order I am

                                       yr humble Servant

      To Robt Ungle Esqr Treasurer           Rd Tilghman

    of the Eastern Shoar

   

   

      And the said Coll Tilghman says that the Arms were

    bought and delivered at Annapolis for which the above Order

    was drawn, and as Mr Bennett has returned him the Order,

    and (as he believes) never received the money, nor Mr Ungle

    ever (as he can find) charged the Publick therewith, he hum

    bly leaves it to the Consideration of this board what may be

    proper to be done therein

      This Board are of Opinion in Relation thereto that the

    properest thing to be done at present, is, that Mr Chamberlain

    search among the Papers of the late Mr Ungle, if the said

    Order is any ways charged among his Accts and make Oath

    of his having so done, to be produced at the next meeting of

    this Honble Board.

      Mr Vachel Denton Clk of the Provincial Court produces to

    this Board the Journl of Accounts for several years; upon

    Inspection whereof it was found that many were wanting,

    whereupon the said Mr Denton says it was with Difficulty he

    found these, they being upon loose Papers, but will endeav-

    our, if possible to find the rest.

   

   

   

   

      At a Council held at the House of His Excellency the          p. 15

    Governor in the City of Annapolis on Thursday the 10th Day

    of July in the fifteenth Year of His Lordships Dom. &c

    Annoq Domini 1729

      His Excellency the Governor acquaints this Honourable

    Board that He has received His Lordships Instructions ap

    pointing Coll John Rider a Member thereof.

      Whereupon the sd Collonel Rider took the Oath of a Coun

    cillor, and the several Oaths appointed to be taken by Act of
