    and altho he has had no regular notice from England of that Lib. X.

    Loss yet he is informed that his Royal Highness the Prince

    of Wales has been proclaimed there as well as at other places

    to the Northward but for the Greater Certainty hath sent an

    Express to Philadelphia and desires the advice of this Board

    relating thereto

      Resolved (the Express sent by his Excellency not being re

    turned) that this Board meet again on Wednesday next to

    Consider further thereof

      Ordered that John Young Armourer upon the Order or

    directions of the Superior Officer of the Militia of this County P. 175

    deliver out such Arms Ammunition &c as shall be wanted on

    the day that shall be appointed for Proclaiming his Royal

    Highness George Prince of Wales King George the second

    day September in the 12th Year of his Lordships Dominion

      His Excellency lays before this Board a Gazette of New York

    as well as that of Boston before mentioned part of which

    Gazettes are as follows

   

   

   

                    New York Gazette

                    London June 15th

      Yesterday soon after three a Clock in the Afternoon Mr

    Crew one of his Majestys Messengers arrivd here with the

    Melancholly news that his Majesty our late most Gracious

    Sovereign King George departed this Life at two a Clock last

    Sunday morning at Osnabrugh of a fit of an Apoplexey Sir

    Robert Walpole who first rec'd this news at Chelsea sent an

    Express with it to the prince and princess of Wales at Rich

    mond their Royal Highnesses immediately came to London p. 176

    and in the Evening the privy Council Assembled at Leicester
