            Lib. x.    mation of some illegal Traders designed into this Province

                 which information is now in the hand of the Clk of the Council

             p.  zoo Tells Collo Blakiston that he may see the State of the Church

                 in the Several Acts of Assembly & other the proceedings &

                 that the Ministers upon all Occasions wait upon him & give

                 him an Account thereof

                   And Lastly Recommends the Welfare thereof to his Excel

                 lency Colo Blakiston who says he shall always Endeavour the

                 Encouragement & Promotion thereof

                                 Port of Annapolis January     1698/9

                   Ordered that George Muschamp Esqr his Majestys Receiver

                 of the Districts of Potomack & Pocomoke pursuant to his

                 Majestys Royal Instructions unto me Fra Nicholson Esqr Cap

                 tain General & Govr in chief of this his Majstys Province pay

                 unto me one Hundred & Fifty four pounds & Nine pence

                 Sterling being the Ballance of his Accot this day given in of

                 the three fourths of the twelve pence p hhd by his Majestys

                 Instructions aforesaid given & ordered to be paid me

                                                 Fra Nicholson

            

                   On the Back of the said Order was thus Endorsed vizt

            

                                  Port of Annapolis Ianuary 2d 1698

                   Then Rec'd of George Muschamp Esqr Receiver of his Maj

                 estys Dutys of Potomack & Pocomoke Districts the within

                 Sum of one hundred & fifty four pounds & Nine Pence Sterling

                   By his Excellency the Govr & Council

                                 Port of Annapolis Ianuary 1698/9

                   Whereas George Muschamp Esqr his Majestys Receiver of

                 the Districts of Potomack & Pocomoke hath already paid unto

                 George Plater Esqr thirty one pounds four Shillings & nine

                 pence Sterl by the said George Muschamp rec'd of the fourth

                 part of the 12d p hhd given by his most Sacred Majsty for the

                 Suplying this Province with Arms & Ammunition &ca which

                 the said George Plater was directed to apply to the purchasing

                 thereof but forasmuch as the said George Plater hath not fully

                 Complied with the directions given him therein ordered there

                 fore that the said Geo Muschamp pay unto his Excellency Fra

                 Nicholson Esqr Capt Genl & Govr in Chief in & over this his
