434 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1724.

X. ings of the Court of Admiralty of this province and disposed thereof before the said Order of the 11th August 1720 Came to hand and was then in Goal and not able to make restitu tion And it is further humbly advised by this Board that his p. 116 Excellency would be pleased to Serve or Cause to be Served the Several Courts of Judicature before which these matters were depending and all other persons whom it may Concern with true Copies of the aforesd Orders of the 30th of April 1724 and the 4th July 1724 Requiring and Commanding them to take due Notice thereof Of which Daniel Dulany Esqr Counsel for the said For ward to have notice His Excellency the Governor having signified to this Honble Board that he has nothing of moment to lay before the Assembly in February next desires the Opinion of this Board what is a proper time for a further Prorogation Whereupon this Board are of Opinion that the fourth Tues day in March next being the 23d of the same month is the most Convenient time to which his Excellency Concurs Ordered that proclamations issue Accordingly
Maryland sst By the Honourable Charles Calvert Esqr Captain General & Lieut Governor &c A Proclamation Whereas this present General Assembly stands Prorogued to the first Tuesday in February next being the 16th day of the same month and whereas there is no Business of Moment which Require their Attendance at that time I have therefore p. 117 thought fit with the advice of his Lordships Council of State further to Prorogue the same and I do hereby further pro rogue the same to the fourth Tuesday of March next being the twenty third day of the same month and to the Intent that all Persons Concern'd may have due Notice thereof I do Strictly Require and Command the several Sheriffs of this Province to make this my Proclamation publick in their Re spective Counties in the usual manner as they will Answer the Contrary at their perill Given at Annapolis this sixth of Jaiiuary in the 9th year of the Dominion of the Right Honble Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon &c Annoq Domini 1724 [Seal]
