      Sr Ablthough we Cannot Approve but dislike former Ad

     dresses for the ease and reserve of Philip Clark Yet we are

     moved to become Intercessors for him not Approving his

     Actions but pittying his folly and Misfortunes and not so much

     for his own as for the Sake of his wife and innocent Children

     who bears a part of his (Justly deserved) Sufferings

      May it therefore please your Excy to accept of this our

     humble Address on his behalfe and Extend his Matys Mercy

     to him in releasing him from his prsent Imprisonment taking

     bond of him for his good behaviour and Abearance in such

     measure as you shall think Convenient for the prservation of

     his Matys peace &c.

      We believe your Excy in your own Nature Inclined to mercy

     and Averce to rigour any further than the honor of the King

     and peace of the province requires which we hope is and will

     be secured and that we may obtain your favourable acceptance

     of this we humbly Subscribe
