352 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1719.

Maryland ss By his Excy the Capt Generall &ca A Proclamation Whereas the Generall Assembly of this Province now stands Prorogued untill the Twentyeth day of January In stant, But for that no Extraordinary urgent affaires require the meeting thereof at that time, I have therefore thought fitt by and with the Advice of his Lordships the Right honble the Lord Proprys Councill of State within this Province further to prorogue the said Generall Assembly untill the first day of May next ensueing at which time they are hereby required to Convene themselves at the City of Annapolis in order to Consult & debate such things as shall then Offer to them for the Interest & Service of his Lordship and this his Province Given at the City of Annapolis this 11th day of January in the Second year of his Lordships Dominion &c. Annoq Dni 1716. God Save the King
Journals of Councill 1719 Maryland ss Att a Councill held in the Councill Chamber in the City of Annapolis on the Tenth day of September in the Sixth Year of the Reign of our Sovn Lord King George, And in the fourth of the Dominion of the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietary of this Province &c. Thomas Brook Esqr Phile: Lloyd Esqr Colo Saml Young Colo Richd Tilghman John Hall Esqr & Cole Thos Addison Henry Lowe Esqr Members of his Lordships Honrble Councill.
His Excellency Delivers to the Honrble Thos Brook Esqr a Letter JJirected for him, which his Excellency says was In- closed to him from their Lordships. And Asks the said Brook if he has not Already received a Letter from their Lordships. To which the said Brook Answers, he has. His Excellency is pleased to Observe to this Honrble Board that he has received a Letter from their Lordships of 23d of March 1718, And lays it before them as follows. • [This Letter is Entered at Large in the Councill Pro ceedings.]
