And it being considered that the Provinciall Court stands Lib. W. B. adjourned unto the second Tuesday of Aprill next. Advised & resolved tht the sd Writts of Election be returnable on Tues day 26th day of April next His Excellency observing tht his most Sacred Maty by his Ordr in Council at the Court of St James the first of October 1714 had been Pleased to Direct seve ral Alterations to be made in the Prayers for the Royal Family and further by his Order in Council of the first of August last was pleased to Order tht in the sd prayers instead of his Royal Highness the Prince there be inserted his Royal Highness George Prince of Wales & tht necessary Directions shou'd be given accordingly Asks the Advice of the Board if it was not necessary A Proclamation should be issued therefore. Whereupon Resolved tht his Excelicy Issue his Proclamation enjoyning the same. And the following Proclamation being prepared & read Viz. Maryland ss. p. 25 By his ExceIlcy the Capt Genll A Proclamation Whereas his most Sacred Maty by his Order in Council held at the Court of St James's the first of October Seaventeen hundred and fourteen reciting tht whereas by an Ordr in Coun cil of the first of August last Sevrll Alterations had been directed to be made in the Prayers for the Royal Family was further Graciously pleased to order tht instead of his Royal Highness the Prince in the Prayers and Sufirages for the Royal Family therebe inserted his Royal Highness George Prince of Wales & tht necessary Directions be given accord ingly. I have therefore wth the Advice of his Matys honble Council thought fit by this my Proclamation to notify the same & Strictly to require the Reverd the Clergie within this province to take due notice thereof & Conforme themselves to his Matys sd order by using the alterations therein directed. Given at the City of Annapolis the 18th day of Janry in the first year of the Reigne of Our Sovereigne Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defdr of the Faith &c. Annoq Dni 1714. God Save the King. Was approved of & ordered to be Issued.
His Excellency is pleased to offer to the Consideration of the Board whether it may be fit to continue the Embargo lay'd on Indian Corne or that now seeing the winter has proved very milde and favourable it be advisable to take it
