        His Exncy was pleased to send for Colonel Smith & Mr

      LLoyd in order to settle the next assizes, when to be held

      notice may be publiquely Given, and appointed the      as

      followeth

        Whereas By the Death of Thomas Tench Esqr & Major

      Genll Hammond and Col John Contee & Mr Seth Biggs lately

      appointed members of this Board The Number of Councel

      lors are reduced to Eight one whereof, Col Francis Ienkins

      is very aged and lives at great Distance Sommersett County

      not being able to give his constant

                            whether it may not be necessary

  for                Dispatch of publique Business to sweare
