164 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1703.
Lib. X. fraying the publick Charge of the Province and that due Notice be given to the several members of the Council & house of Delegates to convene themselves at the Town & Port of Annapolis in Ann Arundell County upon the 26th day of Octr next ensuing As to what his Excellency Collo Blakiston is pleased to mention about the Act of Assembly for the Establishment of religion worship in this Province &ca This Board have re ceived her Majestys most Gracious Assent to that Law This Board have a grateful Sence of his said Excys Carefull and Diligent endeavours to serve this Province in the Affair of our Land Law Lastly as to what his said Excellency has been pleased to communicate to the Board relating to the honble Thomas p. 338 Tench Esqr President now present at the Board concerning the Revenue allotted to her Majestys Governor here the said Honble President does acknowledge that he was misinformed by Mr Randolph & others but that he is well Satisfied with the moiety as it was settled by his Exy when here and will write to his Excy Colo Blakiston His Honour the President says he will give notice to the several Collectors & Naval Officers of the time when prefixed for the Sayling of the present Convoys In the mean time it is ordered that the several Collectors & naval Officers Clear all such Ships as can be got ready to Join the present Convoy at Kiquotan in Virginia but none after the Departure of that Convoy without further Orders Upon application of Sr Thomas Lawrence Bart that where as Mr Jacob Lockerman Juniors sheriffs Bond for Dorchester County anno 1701 had been ordered to William Bladen &ca who had prosecuted it to Judgment he also having a claim against the said Sheriff pray'd Leave that he might apply to the provincial Court upon that Bond & Judgment which is Granted The honble president is pleased to ask the Board if any of them have any thing further to Offer for her Majstys Service who say not
