     said Colo Henry Darnal to seal & send in the Patents afore- Lib. X

     said to be recorded in the Secretarys Office according to the

     Presidents proposal by the last Day of March next at his Perill

                                    Tho:     Lawrence

    

    

       Whereupon his Honour the President acquaints the Board p. 309

     that Colo Darnal had been summoned but there not being a

     full Council nothing was done

       Resolved that the Clerk of the Council write a Letter to

     Colo Darnal & send a Copy of Sr Thomas Lawrences Repre

     sentation with all the proceedings and advise him to finish and

     send in the said Pattents to the Secretarys Office by the last

     of Mar next otherwise this Board will be obliged to joyn with

     her Majestys Secretary in making a due Representation of

     this matter

       Capt Nathaniel Bostock Commander of her Majestys Advice

     Boat Eagle being sent for came & is told that whereas he had

     been credited by the Council for £100 Sterl for which he had

     passed his Bond to her Majestys Receiver it is expected that

     he should call at Patuxent & pay his Bills of Exco upon the

     Victualling Office for the said sum

       The said Captain Bostock is told that there are some Claims

     against him by private persons which he had refused to

     comply with the one by the Widow Norwood & the other for

     a Sloop but that out of respect to her Majestys Service his

     Honour the President had forbid the Sheriff from arresting

     him

       Captain Bostock says he will Clear the Country of what he

     owes to any Body

       The warrant given Captain Bostock by his Honr the Presi

     dent for impressing his Campliment of men to be Born on

     board his Ship & for going down to Virginia read & Ap

     proved of

       Captain William Blairs Commander of the Ship Providence

     his petition read as followeth

    

    

     To the Honble President & Council

       The humble Petition of William Blair Mariner & Master of p. 310

     the Ship Providence

       Most humbly Sheweth unto your Honours that your

     Petitioner is concerned in a Ship very near Loaden & hopes

     to be ready to Join the Fleet under the convoy of the South

     hampton man of war but so it hath happened that since his

     arrival into this Province Captain Bostock Commander of her
