Lib. X. his Honour the president should appoint a time for her Trial but in case he cannot then be ready by reason that his wit nesses are absent & the uncertainty of the weather his Evi dences being over the Bay he hopes he shall not be suprized but as for his part he promises he will do what in him Lyes to come then to Trial nay sooner if Possible the other parties consenting that it may appear that there is no delay on his part

Ordered that her Majestys Justices of the Town & Port of Annapolis take care to see the Act of Assembly for keeping good Rules and Orders in the said Town put in Execution & that they keep their Courts regularly According to Act of Assembly

Read his Excellency Gov Nicholsons Letter of the 27th of January & inclosed news from England Read Capt Nathl Bostocks Letter of this days date Requir ing a Store House & that the Government would take Care about careening her Majestys Advice Boat Eagle in May next Ordered that Captain Bostock have notice that the Council will sit to niorrow when he may make his Application as he sees fit Mr George Parker Sheriff of Calvert County excused from Mr Platers Complaint
