The houses answer to the Message of this Board about the
honourable William Blathwait Esquires Pattent of Auditor
generall was read and considered by this board, & wee wsh tht
your house would further consider of the sd message, & shew
the vallue wee haue for soe worthy a friend, and because there
is but Slender appearance of yor house at this tyme it is pro-
posed that this Matter be recomended to the consideration of
the next Sessions of Assembly

keeping holy the Lords Day, commonly called Sunday
And bill for declareing how the 40 p poll in the parishes

saileing being read his Excy assure us, tht he has used his best
Endeavrs with the Commodore both by speakeing & writeing
to him, but that he had assured him it was not in his power
without express orders from England

Resolved there be another conference desired & tht mr
Richard Tilghman is ordered to desire a further conference of
his Excy & Councill upon the Matter relateing to the sd bill

ince subscribed by the honble Speaker on behalfe of the whole
house & sent up to his Excy & Councill by mr Phill Lynes
He returnes & Sayes he Delivered the Same.
