Which being read itt was putt to the vote, whether or
noe he should be any longer continued as agent for this
Province, and it is resolved in the affirmative, Wherefore
this house doe resolue to continue him, and ordered an
ordinance be drawne to continue him, and to be sent up to
his Excellency, and Councill for theire concurrence which
follows

Collonell Nathaniel Blakistons letter to the Generall As-
sembly of this Province touching the agency of the affaires
of this Province in England being read itt was putt to the
vote, whether or noe he should be any longer continued to
act as an agent for this Province, and it was resolued in the
affirmatiue, wherefore this house doe resolue to continue him
theire agent, & desire the honble Councills concurrence,

Ordered that it be recommended to the Committee of Laws
to inspect the Act for three pence per Gallon, and report
what amendments are requisite.
Bill for settleing a Revenue on her Majestyes present Gov-
erneur, was read the first tyme, and doe pass, nemine con-
tradicente.
Mr William Harris, Mr Matthias Vanderheyden, Mr Robert
Bradley & Mr Peter Dent sent up to his Excy and Councill

They returne and say they delivered the message.
Moved by a member that Coll Blakiston the agent be re-
quested to use his Endeavours to facilitate ameans of bring-
ing servants into the Province
And procure a longer Tyme for the Exportation of Tobacco
out of England, and that he be desired to send the new Stat-
utes of England from to this tyme, and soe from
yeare to yeare, as new Statutes be made and Enacted
