his Ex^cy for his kind Endeavours to relieve those unfortunate
persons under Navigation Bonds.
L^t Col^o Lockerman brings up from the house a Bill Declar-
ing how the forty pounds of Tob^o p poll in the parishes where
there is no Incumbent shall be Disposed of which was Read
the first time & Sent to the house by M^r Coursey.
A Supplementary Bill to the Act for Sanctifying & Keep-
ing holy the Lords Day comonly called Sunday w^ch said Bill
being Read Resolved there is no need thereof for that the
Law has sufficiently provided.
M^r Tilghman from the house to Desire a further Confer-
ence with some of the Members of this Board about the
bill proposed for Regulating Ordinarys & Granting the
Licenses
M^r Tench M^r Brook & Col Holland are ordered to Meet
the Conferrees from the house at M^r John Freemans with all
convenient Speed to enter upon that Conference & that they
have due Reguard to her Ma^tys Interest.
M^r Lynes with the Letter from the house to Col Blakiston
Desiring it may be sign'd by the Councill — which was accord-
ingly So done
Came M^r Bradley with the Journall of the Comittee of
Acco^ts which was Read & assented to by the Councill
M^r Bradly brings up the Engross'd bill declaring how the
40^l of Tob^o p poll in such parishes where there is no Incum-
bent shall be Disposed of & An Engrossed Bill for the Sale
of part of the Lands of Cap^t Henry Smith late of Somersett
County for paym^t of his Just Debts
Which Said bills were read & assented to by this house &
then sent to the house by M^r Coursey
The Gentⁿ of the Councill who were sent upon the Confer-
ence about the bill for regulating Ordinarys make their Report
as follows viz^t That the profitts Arising from Ordinary Keep-

ers Lycenses are not any part of the Revenue of the Crowne
of England but may be apply'd to the uses menconed in the
bill for Regulating Ordinarys &c. if the Governo^r & Councill
think fitt.
