Fry day Octobr 29th 1703
The Council in Assembly again Sate Present as Yesterday
Came Lt Col Thos Smith and Mr John Hall with the Jour-
nal of the Committee of Accompts for this present Sessions
which was assented to by this Board.
The said Committee also humbly offered to the Board that
this years public Levy in regard of the small Crops of Tobo
made this present year 1703 occasioned by the late Seasons
early Frosts & Great Gusts might be paid out of the publick
mony in Bank at the Rate of ten Shill. for every hundd pounds
of Tobo which was also agreed to
Came Mr Tilghman and Mr Hutchinson from the House of
Delegates and bring up a Bill for reviving some temporary
Laws and a Bill for apportioning the publick Levy assented to
by the House which were again Read and assented to by the
Council and sent to the House
Then came Mr Tilghman from the House of Delegates &
acquainted his Honour the President that the House were
ready to attend him in Council in order to Conclude this
present Sessions and is told that the President and Council
are ready to receive them
Whereupon came Mr Speaker and the Members of the
House & presented the Act for reviving some Temporary
Laws and an Act for apportioning the publick Levy which
said Acts on behalf of her most Sacred Majesty Queen Ann
of England &c the Honble President & Council Willed to be
Laws & Subscribed them the Great Seal having been first
affixed thereto in the Presence of the General Assembly
Which sd General Assembly was by the President &
Council Prorogued until the fourth Day of January next
