Eminent Example of good Life a Discountenancer of Imoral-
lity and an Encourager of Vertue and Sober conversation
And Abroad was the terror of the[ir] and the nation's Enemys
and Supporte of his Alies whose Departure out of this Life
wee with the rest of yo^r Maj^ts Subjects most unfeignedly
lament and condole But yett notwithstanding the sad Circum-
stance to which Allmighty God (whose heavenly will be done)
in his good providence has reduced us. Wee finde ourselves
not a little comforted when we behold yo^r Maj^ty whom wee
Acknowledge our true and rightfull Sovereigne Queen Leidge
Lady Succeeding our sd Late Sovereigne not only in his
Dignity and dominions but in all his virtuous pious and Gra-
cious inclinations and disposicons to protect our religion and
liberty According to our knowne and Established laws and
Steddily and w^ithout interupcon to prosecute the same Alli-
ances and Royal Designes in w^ch wee pray God Allmighty to
prosper your Maj^ty & bless you with a long life and a happy
reigne Wee acknowledge our happiness under the immediate
Government of yo^r Maj^ts Crowne and the Establishment of
Religion among us and herein wee are oblidged in Gratitude
to declare the care integrity and Justice of our p^rsent Govern-
eur Nath Blakiston Esq^r by whose Example and Encourage-
ments Religion has been advanced among us and by whose
Justice and Conduct wee have enjoyed all that free Subjects
can reasonably desire or hope for and for whose leaveing us
because he has not his health wee are heartily Sorry and
entirely depend on y^r maj^tys wisdorr.e and Goodness to Supply

us in that p'ticular And wee beseech yo^r Maj^ty to continue
this y^r Maj'^s ancient province in Your Royall Care and consid-
eration Assureing yo^r Maj^ty of the Sinceere and good Afec-
tions of the Inhabitants thereof from whom yo^r Maj^ty may
Expect all that cheerfull obedience which love and Duty Com-
ands from —
Yo^r Maj^ts most dutifull and loyall Subjects which was first
Signd by the hono^ble Councill and then by the house of
Dellegates
Coll Edward Loyd from the honob^le Councill enters the
house and Deliverd M^r Speaker the Journall of the Comittee
of Accounts and
Bill for Apporconing the publick Leavy both assented to
And the sd Coll Loyd Acquainted M^r Speaker that his
Excy and the honob^le Councill were ready at the Councill
chamber to receive them and the whole house to compleate
this Sessions
Thereupon the house adjourned to the Council chamber
where M^r Speaker p'sented his Excy with the bill for Appor-
coning the publick leavy made this Sessions
