Upon reading of which Mr. Speaker on behalfe of the
house did acknowledge their Great Sattisfaction they recd by
the Address and that they were Gladd they were Serviceable


in so Great a Worke And hope they would putt in practise
the Same accordingly
Thereupon they withdrew.
Colll Edwd Dorsey a Member for Baltemore County enters
the house, Whereupon Mr Lawrence Draper and Mr James
Smallwood was Ordered to goe with them up to the Council
board to see them sworne
Doctor James Bensons Peticon for Sale of Milburnes Lands
for paymt of his debt was read.
And referred till tomorrow morning for further considera-
cOn
The peticon of Peter Sewell of Calvert County Read
thereby praying An Allowance for the Runaway Negroe that
was shott
The house haveing Debated the same it was putt to the
Vote whether he shalbe allowed any thing or not
Carried in the affirmative
And then putt to the Question whether it be Fifteen pounds
or tenn pounds Sterling.
Carryed by Majority of Voices that he be allowed fifteen
Pounds Sterling
And Orderd the same be referred to the Comittee of Ac-
counts for Allowance.
The Comittee appointed for drawing up an Address to her
Majty enters the house and brings with them the Address
Orderd it be read tomorrow morning.
And the house adjd till tomorrow morng 7 a Clock
