Herewith is sent you an Address proposed to be presented
to her Majesty upon her Accession to the Throne from his
Excellency the Governeur and this General Assembly that
you may peruse it and according as you shall think fit either
add or diminish as you shall see Cause

Came Major Dent Mr Hutchinson & Mr Young from the
House of Delegates who present Mr Richard Tilghman a
Delegate of Talbot County who took the oaths appointed by
Act of Parliament instead of the oaths of Allegiance &
Supremacy to her Majesty & Subscribed the Test
Mr John Hall and Mr John Wight from the House present
Mr John LeCompte a Burghess for Dorsett County who took
the Oaths of Allegiance &c to her Majesty and Subscribed
the Test
Read the right honourable the Lords of the Council of
Trade & Plantations Letter of the 16th March 1701/2 with a
reference from the right honourable the Lords of his Majesty's
most honourable Privy Council to the said Lords of Trade
&c to Enquire whether the Court of Admiralty in this Prov-
ince is held by virtue of the Lords of the Admiralty's Com-
mission or by virtue of a particular Clause in the Commission
under the great Seale
In answer whereto his Excellency and this Board do say
the said Courts of Admirality for five years last past have
been held by Virtue of a Commission from the right honour-
able the Lords of the Admiralty. The sd Commission in a
more particular manner respecting & settling that Court &
the Judicature thereof.
This Board adjourned 'till 8 of the Clock tomorrow morning
Fryday June 26th 1702.
The Council in Assembly Sate Present as yesterday with
the addition of the honourable Col John Addison
Read the Petition of Mr Robert Ungle and Mr Robert
Grundy Execs of the last Will & Testamt of Mr Nicholas Mil-
burn of Talbott County deceased praying for the reasons
therein contained that they may be enabled to sell the said
Milburnes Estate for paymt of his Debts
