264 Assembly Proceedings, Mar. 16, 1701/2-Mar. 25, 1702.

Journal.

Mr Phillemon Loyd and Mr Benjamin Hall sent up to the
honl. Councill with the severall proposed Bills engrossed and
are ordd to desire that they may be affixed and made ready
and tht this house wilbe ready to attend his Excy in the After-
noone or when his Excy shall please to comand them.
They returne and say they delivered their Message.
And soe the house adjourned till two a Clock in the After-
noone

Post Meredm: — The house mett again according to adjournmt
and being called over were all present as in the morning
Mr Wm Bladen elk of his Matys honble Councill enters the
house and informs Mr Speaker that his Excy Comands him and
the whole house to attend him at the Councill Chamber to
compleate this Sessions of Assembly
Thereupon Mr Speaker and the rest of the Members attend
his Excy Comands at the Councill chamber.
Att the Councill Chamber Mr Speaker prsented his Excy the
severall Bills made this Sessions
To which his Excy was pleased to give his assent thereto by
endorseing them severally in these words vizt

March 25th 1702

On behalfe of his most Sacred Majtys King William the third
&c I will these to be Laws
N. Blakiston

Wch being done his Excy was pleased to Seale them with
the Broad Seale of this province, which laws being soe signed
and sealed
His Excy was pleased to acquaint this house that he thought
it convenient for his Matys Service to prorogue them untill the
twenty fifth day of Apprill next at which time if there be no
occasion of their meeting he would after give them timely
notice.
Thereupon Mr Speaker and the rest of the Members were
prorogued accordingly
Soe ended the Second Sessions of Assembly on Wednesday
the 25th day of March Anno Dni. 1702 and in the 14th yeare of
the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord Wm the third by the Grace
of God of Engld, Scotld, ffrance and Ireland King defender of
the faith &c
