And be it further Enacted by the Authority Aforesaid that
in case of death or Absence of any the psons in this Act
nominated and Appointed that then it shall and may be Law-
full for the Govr for the time being to nominate constitute
and Appointe one or more in his or their stead and place

who shall hereby have full Power and Authority to doe and
Act in all things as by this Act is directed this Act to endure
for three yeares or to the end of the next Sessions of Assem-
bly which shall first happen

An Act for reviveing some Temporary Laws of this Province.

Be it Enacted by the Kings most Excellt Majty by and with
the Advice and consent of this prsent Genll Assembly and the
Authority of the same That one Act of Assembly of this
Province made at A Genll Assembly begunn and held at the
Porte of Annapolis the 28th day of June in the yeare of our
Lord 1699 Entituled an Act for Limittacon of Officers fees —
one other Act made at the same Assembly Entituled an Act
for Sumoning Grand and Petit Jurys which said two Acts of
Assembly and all and Every Article Clause and thing in the
sd Two Acts contained shalbe and are hereby Revived and
continued to Stand and be in force and Effect for and dureing
three yeares or to the End of the next Sessions of Assembly
which shall happen after the end of the said Three yeares.

An Act for Repealing certaine Laws in this Province and
Confirmeing others

Whereas diverse laws have been heretofore made in this
Province which time and Experience have rendred useless and
not agreeable to the Present constitucon to the State of Af-
faires as they are now Settled. Be it therefore Enacted by
the Kings most Exct Majty by and with the advice and consent

of this Present Genll Assembly and the Authority of the same
that all Laws made before the beginning of a Sessions of As-
sembly begun and held at the towne of Annapolis the 28 day
of June Anno Dmi 1699 be and are hereby utterly repealed
& made void Except such as by their Perticular Titles are
Expressed & Sett downe in a Schedule or Cattalogue here-
unto Annexed and Acts for Private uses which said Laws soe
Excepted are hereby rattified and Confirmed saveing to any
person the benefitt & Advantage of any Suite or Action which
is Allready commenced or sued upon any the said Repealed
Acts (That is to say) An Act of Recognition
