informer or him or them that will sue for the same by Action
of Debt Bill Plaint or informacon wherein noe Essoyne Pro-
texion or wager of law shallbe allowed and that any pson or
psons whatsoever that shall kill any unmarked swine being
above three months old if not upon his or their owne land or
not in Compy with his or their owne Stock shall and is hereby

Adjudgd a hogstealer and Shalbe lyable to restore ffower fold
and Suffer such Corporall paines as agt the first Offence in
this Act mentioned and to prevent any such pson or psons
concealing or disfigureing the marke of Swine killed as afore-
said
Be it further Enacted &ca that if any pson or psons killing
any Such unmarked Swine in the woods or other, and shall
wilfully disfigure the marke or cutt of the Eare of such Swine
soe as to conceal the true and real marke or whether it were
marked or not shallbe deemed and adjudged a Hogstealer
within the purview of this Act and shall suffer Accordingly
and to prevent the Abuseing hunteing or Worryeing any
Stock of Hoggs cattle or horses with doggs or ortherwise
Be it Enacted that if any pson or psons whatsoever that have
been convicted of any of the Crimes aforesaid or other crimes
or of Evill fame and disolute liveing that shall Shoot kill and
hunt upon any psons Land wherein there shalbe A Seated
plantacon without the Owners leave haveing been once before
warned shall forfeit and pay One Thousand pounds of tobbo
one halfe to our Sovereigne Lord the King the other halfe to
the party Grieved or those who will sue for the Same to be
recovered as Aforesaid And the better to imprinte the paines
and Penaltys of this Law into the mindes of all sorts of People
and to prevent the Committeing any Such Crimes and Offen-
ces as aforesd Be it also Enacted that this Act shalbe pub-
lickly read ffower times a yeare in every Parrish church of this
Province at the time of a full congregation either before or
after Service by the Clerke or reader of such Church under
the Penalty of One Thousand pounds of tobbo fforfeit to our

Sovereigne Lord the King for the use of such parrish to be
paid or recovered of every Clerk or reader soe neglecting.
And be it Enacted that every Clerke of the Severall and
respective County Courts of this Province be and are hereby
Oblidged Ex Officio to deliver unto the Several Clarkes of
their parrishes within their Countys a ffair Coppy of this Act
for Publishing and reading as aforesd And be it further Enact-
ed by and with the Authority Advice & consent aforesaid that
one Act made at an Assembly begunn and held at the towne
