and by reason of the yet small appearance, I did by advice of P. R. O. those present in Councill, issue out a new Cornission to the former and others, for the Provincial Courte of which Sir Thomas Lawrence Chiefe Justice, who have since sate and proceeded as usual, and all very orderly and quiet in that particular, and I hope soon the coming of some Councillours wanting, and all else relating to their Majs present service to be well settled till the arrival of their Majesties' Commands which I shall be glad may be very speedily by a Governor for this Province from whence (as commanded) 25oL is sent for the assistance of New Yorke and 500£ from Virginia as by an account thereof and all other proceedings ordered to he transmitted to your Lordships for which 500£ of Virginia on the representations of New Yorke and their apprehended necessitys, pray your Lordships favour to their Majties out off the Quit rents, the other Revenue not being now sufficient but in arrears, and all being well here, am now on my returne to Virginia and remaine Your Lordships obedient and most humble servant St Marys in Maryland Andros.
