Lib. x. from the Justices of the Prov' Court & the Grand Jury be made publick Advised that his Excellency will be pleased to write to his Excellency Sr Edmd Andros Knt his Majestys Lieut & Gov p. 142 ernor General of Virginia to send him the presentment against Cood now found by the Grand Jury & to press him to take care to apprehend him & Deliver him up upon the Borders of this Province to this Government by which upon notice care will be taken to receive him

Collo Henry Iowles Chancellor Thomas Tench & James Frisby Esqrs the honble Robt Smith & Tho Tasker Esqrs Justices
Mr. John Bozmane appearing at the Board is by his Excel lency Commissionated Navall Officer of the District of Poco moke takes the Oaths of Allegiance &ca Signs the Test also takes the oath for increase of trade appointed by the late Act of Parliamt for preventing frauds & regulating abuses in the plantation trade Mr William Harris appearing according to Recognizance & Mr Vanderhaydens & several other Depositions read relating to some words spoken by Esqr Frisby that he heard Mr Harris should say Also Mr. Thomas Church who was Summoned at the request of Mr William Harris declaring that to the best of his knowl edge he does not know of any Discourse John Willis had with his wife And the Declaration of W Charles Bass of Caecil County being against Esqr Frisby His Excellency is pleased to observe that none of the De positions do affect the said Esqr Frisby except Mr Basses & tells Mr Bass that he has heard such a Character of him vizt that he questioned whether there was a God or not that he can give no credit to him And his Excellency is further pleased to say that he will not pretend to try the matter but will leave it in the hands of the Kings Lawyers who are ordered to prosecute the same Ordered that Mr Plater pay Mr Danl Peirce for Officiating as riding Surveyor at the head of the Bay from the 5th of March 1695/6 to the 24th 10ber 1697 twenty two pounds Sterl being after the rate of 12 l p Ann to agreement
