Collo Robert Quary being sworn upon the holy Evangelists saith that being in the Court house in one of the Gallerys this day when Mr Gerrard Sly was upon his Tryal in the same Gal lery he observed several young Gentlemen who seemed to favour the said Sly & heard one Mr William Iosephs Iunior after that Capt Richard Hill one of his Majestys Justices of the provincial Court had declared his sentiments thereon say that he had made a Florid piece of Stuff without a word of Law in it whereupon the Deponent told him that he thought neither the said Iosephs nor himself were fit Iudges whether the Court
