p. 92 The said Proclamation being approved of was Ordered to pass the broad Seal John Young appearing at the Board says that being Com manded by Licut Colo Low to apprehend & secure Mr Robert Mason the said Masons wife took a drawn Sword in her hand & swore she would be the death of them that touched her husband & said there would be an overturn before Chrismas day That being at the house of Mr Philip Clark Hannah the wife of the said Clark wished she had the Govrs hearts Blood cold in her hand & that she got a Spit for Colo Low & hoped to see an overturn before Chrismas day Complains that having his Excellencys warrant to Impress an horse when he was last sent to St Marys County upon Express for his Majestys Service he endeavoured to press one belonging to John Wilson Senr but that Elizabeth his wife came out with a Case Knife & swore she would cut his hand of if he did not loose the horse & shewing his Excllcys said warrant she said the Governor kiss her Arse Whereupon ordered that the Sheriff of Ann Arundel County take the said Elizabeth Wilson into his Custody & have her without Delay before his Excellency the Govr to Answer such her Contempt Iohn Young Complains to the Board that having his Excel lencys warrant to Impress horses Boats and hands for his more ready dispatch upon the Express on which he was sent he did desire one Ambrose Bradford Master of a Small Rum Vessel of Captain Bowles to give him a Passage over Putuxent River
