There were Interrogatorys annex't to Orlando Gee Regrius the Comission like as to Mr Jenings Comission out of the Admiralty (Seal) Mr David To all people To whom these presents shall Kennedy's Deputacon come We the Commssionrs for manageing and from the Comrs of the Customs for causing to be Leavyed and collected His Mats Customs Subsidies and other Duties in this his Pocomoke Kingdom of England send Greeting, Know Yee District in the Province, that we the sd Commrs Have by virtue of an Act of Parliamt made in the Twenty ffifth year of the Reign of King Charles the Second Entituled an Act for Encouraging of the Eastland and Greenland Trades, And for better Securing the Plantacon Trade and in pursuance of the Authority and Direction to us Given by the Rt honourable the p. 65 Lords Comrs of his Mats Treasury, Deputed and impowr'd and Doe hereby Depute and Impower David Kennedy Esq To be Collectr of all the Rates Duties and Impositions arising & Growing due to his Maty at Pocomoke River in his Mats Province of Maryl. By virtue of the Act, Whereby Hee hath Power to Enter into any Ship Bottom Boat or other Vessell, As also into any Shop House Ware House, Hostery, or other place whatsoever, to make diligent Search into any Trunck Chest, Pack, Casse Truss or any other parcell or package whatsoever, ffor any Goods Wares, or Merchandize Prohibited to be imported or Exported, or whereof the Cus toms or other Duties, have not been duly paid, and the same to Seize to his Mats use. And also to put in Execution all other the Law full Powers and Authorities for the better man ageing or Collecting the sd Duties, in all things proceeding as the Law directs; Hereby praying & Requiring all & every His Mass Officers and Ministers and all others whom it may concern to be aiding and assisting to him, in all things as becometh. Given under our hands and Seal at the Custom House London this 21th day of Novr in the Eighth Year of the
