     lib. H. D.     By his Exncy the Governr &ca Janry 28th 1696.

       p. 451 Ordr abt  Ordered that the severall Collectors and Navall

              tendering an   .

             Oath to all Officers within this Province do (for the future)

             Masters of tender an Oath to the Severall Masters of Ships

              Ships &ca     at their Entry making, Vizt that their Ships are

       

             Rightly Navigated and qualifyed according to the Severall

             Acts of Trade and that they have imported no Goods but

             what are legally Cocquetted and have paid the Kings Duties

             according to Law.

          By his Exncy the Governr &ca Janry 28th 1696.

             Ordr abt  Whereas his Maty having obtaind Judgmt for

                  fforfeited Navigacon severall Sumes of Money upon Accot of fforfeited

             Bonds &ca Navigacon Bonds, for which his Exncy has given

             his promise that no Executions shall issue thereon untill

             his Mats pleasure shall be further known; And it being

             Represented that some prsons (since Judgmt passed agt them)

             have gone about or at least do Endeavor to Convey away

             or dispose of their Estates with intent to defraud his Maty of

             such Judgmts obtained; Ordered that it be Referred to Mr

             Attorney and Sollicitor Genll whether such Conveyances may

             be deemed legall and to Advise what way may be most

             suitable & proper for his Mats Service to obstruct and hinder

             such ifraudulent Conveyances, whereby those Judgmts may

             Effect the Estates of those prsons agt whom they are obtain'd

             from the time of their first passing, and that they make

             Report thereon accordingly with all Convenient Speed.
