        Ordered that the Rangers do, pursuant to the late Ordi- Lib. H. D.

       nance of Assbly send down for the Armes & Sadles allotted

       them here at the Port of Annapolis, for which they are to pay

       one half this year and the other half next year, The Time of

       their Ranging now drawing on. His Exncy is pleas'd to

       demand of the Board (whether they have anything further to

       Offer at this time) who say they have not.

        Memd: the following Proceeding was then Read in Councill

       Vizt

      

                        Janry 22th 1696.

      

       The proceed- At a meeting of the Justices of the Peace of

       ing of laibot

       Co: Justices Talbot County for inspection of the Records of

       abt the the same County.

        The Mr Robert Gouldesborough Mr Thomas Robins junr his Mats

        Mr Richd Tilghman                     &     Justices

       Worpp Mr Robert Macklin                Mr Math: Smith  Prsent

      

        It appears to the sd Justices upon their Veiwing the sd Record

       that there has not been any Entry of the Iudgmts and Proceed

       ings of the sd Court since the Court held in December Anno

       1694.

        All of which is humbly Offer'd by the sd Justices to the

       Consideration of his Exncy the Governr and to the Honrble his

       Mats Councill for Redress.

        The Sd Proceeding was by Order indorsed as followes Vizt

       

      

        By his Exilcy the Governr & Councill &ca ffebry 19th 1696/7

      

        The within Paper being Read, it is observed that the Wor- p. 463

       shipfull the Justices have not given any Reason how such

       Neglect has happened; being sorry that such Omissions have

       been suffered and withall do Ordr as it is hereby Ordered tht

       they send the Reason of the Non Entry of those Judgmts that

       process may be Ordered out against the Parties Delinquents,

       his honr the Secry Certifying that he had (before the Coming

       of this) given Order for perfecting all the Records of that

       County Court.
