                 Carbine, 2 ditto Pistoll, a parcell of flints said to be 3460.

                 County of the same County Gentlemen are held & firmly

                 bound unto our Sovereigne Lord the King in the full & just

                 Sum of five hundred pounds of good & lawfull money of

                 England, to be paid to the said Lord the King his Heires or

                 Successors, for which payment well & tru!y to be made we do

                 bind our selves & each of uss our heires Execurs Admrs firmly

                 by these presents Sealed our Seales & dated the two &

                 twentyeth day of Octobr Annoq Domini 1697.

                  The Condicön of the above Obligation is such that if the

                abovebound John Salter, his Heires Exers Admrs or assignes

                or any of them doe withall convenient speed performe fulfill

                observe & keep all and every the covenants articles & agree

                ments entred into heretofore by the sd John Salter with the

                Iustices of Talbott County concerning the Court house of the

                same County, at the first comeing of the said John Salter to

                the said Court house and if the said Ino Salter doe pay back
