Order for Produced by his Exncy to the Board Copy of an Capt Hollands Accot made Up betwixt Mr James Coutts Mercht answering in Money the and Capt Wm Holland of Ann Arundell County 40424 ls of Tobo he fell Genti upon a Note drawn by his sd Exncy on the sd short in paying Capt Holland, payable to the Ordr of the sd Coutts Mr Coutts at 13s p Cent &ca for Seaventy Thousand ffive hundred Sixty Six pounds of Tobo Ball: due on Accot of the 40 ll Tobo p poll given by a certain Ordinance of Assembly for and Towards Building a Church at Annapolis, which was Sold by his Exncy to the sd Coutts after the Rate of thirteen shillings p Cent in the paymt whereof the sd Capt Holland was found to ffall short the Sume of fforty Thousand flour hundred Twenty ffour pounds of Tobo as by Copy of the sd Coutts Rect (for thirty thousand one hundred fforty two pounds of Tobo only) passed to the sd Capt Holland at the settling the sd Accot the 16th of Aprill last past does more at large appear. Ordered that the Capt Wm Holland do Answer Money pro portionable to what the sd Coutts had Contracted to give for the sd Tobo Vizt 13s: p Cent payable in lyon Dollars or peices of Eight unto his Exncy for the Vse of the Church aforementioned; and that upon delay or refusing to pay the Same His Mats Counsell at Law are hereby directed and Ordered to issue process against the said Capt Holland at the Suit of his Maty for the Same, being Required forthwith to Return his Answer thereto.
