A Bill for Amerciamts in the Provll & Covnty Corts read the
first Time
Ordrd that these fovr Bills be read againe this afternoone.
The Honble Iames ffrisby and Tho: Tasker Enter the house
and bring in the Bills sent by Coll Thompson and Mr Ashman
wth some remarks for amendmt wch being amended were sent
back by Mr Ion Hall & Mr Walter Campbell who returned
and say they have deliverd the same
Read the Petition of Majr Tho Smithson Publick Treasurer
on the Eastern praying his Acctt might be allowed for Sevrall
sums of Money wch he paid to Coll Hutchins & Sevrall the
Delegates & officers on the Eastern Shore out of the Publick
Stock.

Whereupon the house resolve them selfs into a Grand
Comittee and appoynt Majr Tho Smith Cheirman wch Cornit-
tee being Ended and Mr Speaker having reassumed the
Chaire Maj' Thomas Smith made report that the Comittee
had Considerd the Petition & Grantd the Petitioners Request.
The house Adjournes till Two of the Clock

Eod Die the house Mett againe & were Called over
Ordrd that Mr Speaker Issue his Warrant to his Majtys Secry
to Issue out a writt of Election to the Sherife of Calvert
County to Elect one Delegate to Serve in the Roome of
Mr James Crauford Lately Deed.
A Bill of Amercemts in the Provll & County Cots, read the
second time and will pass
A Bill for Speedy Conveying of Lrs read the second time
and will pass
A Bill for Staying of Execution after the tenth of April
read the second Time and will pass
A Bill Impowering the Comissrs of the County Courts to
raise money to Defray the necessary Charge of the County
read the second Time & will pass
Ord'd that Mr Iohn Hall Mr Tho: Hicks Mr Walter Cambell
and Majr Iames Smallwood Carry the said bills to his Excy &
Councill who returne and say they have Delivered the Same
To his Excy the Govr the Humble Adress of the house of
Delegates.

May it please yor Excy
Wee are not insencible of his Sacred Majtyes Royall Com-
mands to yor Excy concerning navigation Bonds Lately put
in suit against Divers of his Majtyes poor Subjects here agl
some of wch Iudgemts is allready Given to the Great Terror &
Discouragemt of the said Partyes who are in noe wise capable
