Put to the vote if the said Rob^t Grundy should be fined for
his neglect or not Carry in the affirmative.
Put to the Vote if he shall be fined Two thousand pounds
of Tobacco or four thousands pds of Tobacco.
Carryed by the Majority of voices for Two Thousand pds of
Tobacco.
An Act for Benefiting the Kings Subjects &c the first time
and Comitted for Amendment.
An Act for the better Administration of Iustice in the
Sev^rall County Co^rts read the first time.
An Act for asscertaining what Damages shall be allowed on
protested Bills of Exchange read the first time
An Act prohibiting Trade w^th the Indians for any flesh
Dead or alive Except Deer & wild fowle read

Tasker Esq^r has been here reed: & read Resolved that Cap^t
Rich^d Hill M^r Sam^ll Young M^r George Ashman M^r W^m Hutch-
isson M^r Thomas Greenfield M^r Walter Smith M^r Elisha Hall
Cap^t Philip Haskens & M^r Benj^a Hall or the Maj^r Part of them
be appoynted a Committe to Ioyne w^th his Ex^cy and his Maj^ties
Honble Councill in adviseing & Concerting such Measures as
will Suppress any violence w^ch may be offired to this Prov-
ince by the Indians after the breaking up of this p^rsent Ses-
sions of Gen^ll Assembly untill such time that the said Gen^ll
Assembly can possibly be Convened and that A Bill be pre-
pared for the Same.
