That the said Treasurer Pay to Capt Henry Massey Thirty
Pounds eleven shillings and three Pence Wages due himself
and Men on board the Amelia as per Accounts passed by the
A General
That the said Treasurer Pay to Christopher Birkhead six
hundred and seventeen Pounds ten shillings & four Pence
and the further sum of sixty eight pounds seven shillings
& six Pence due to him per Accts passed by the A Genl
Certificate given to Colo Birkhead that it appears necessary
that he shall Draw on the Eastern shore Treasurer two Pounds
ten shillings as per Certificate of John Bracco Register of the
Orphans Court on Account of Willm Brinsfield a wounded
soldier lately a Private in the first Class of the fourth Battalion
of Militia from Talbot County
Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut
Crapper of the Galley Baltimore 5 yards Check Linen
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut Jacob
of the 6 Regiment, Cloth sufficient for a Coat Waistcoat &
breeches with Trimings and 7 yards Linen to be charged
accordingly.
Capt. Gordan, The Copy of a Clause in a Resolve of the
General Assembly passed last Session by which you will see
there is an Advance on the pay of the Officers & Men in the
Galleys and you are desired to ship your men agreeable
thereto.
Ordered That the Sheriff of Talbot County pay to George
North Thirty two Dollars the bounty for enlisting two Recruits
That the Treasurer of the Western shore pay to Zacheus
Onion seventeen Pounds ten shillings for the use of Thomas
Bond Senr per Account passed by the Auditor General
It being represented by Richard Dallam Esqr that Colo
Hollingsworth hath sent large Quantities of wheat into Harford
County to be manufactoried into flour to be laid up in Maga-
zines for the use of the Army and that unless the said wheat
is soon carried to the Mills the same is in danger of being
spoilt and stolen and that Waggons cannot be got for the
removal of the said Wheat unless a power is given by this
Board for the impressing them.
Wherefore it is ordered that a sufficient Number of
Waggons & Teams be immediately employed in the said
Service and if they cannot be obtained on Contract that on
the Application of the said Colo Hollingsworth or any Person
acting in his Behalf that they be impressed according to Law,
and in Order that the burthen may be as equally divided as
may be that the Waggons and Teams necessary for the Service
be taken from the different Parts of Harford County which
will afford an Opportunity to two or more neighbours to make
