William Reilyjohn Sprigg Belt, Edward Spurrier, Lieuts John
Hamilton, John Colegate Parker Hall Lee and John Harts-
horne, seven hundred and fifty Pounds each the Allowance
made by the late Act of Assembly amounting in the whole to
seven thousand five hundred Pounds.
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Lieut. John Jeremiah
Jacob for the following Officers of the 6th Maryland Regimt
to wit, Colo Williams, Lieut Colo Ford, Major Hardman, Capts
Henry Dobson, William Dent Beall, John Smith, Capt Lieuten-
ant James Somerville, Lieuts John Jeremiah Jacob, James
Bruff Richard Denovan, George Jacob, Charles Beavin Edward
Moran and Ensigns John Lynn & Samuel Hamilton seven
hundred and fifty Pounds each the Allowance made by the late
Act of Assembly amountg in the whole to eleven thousand two
hundred and fifty Pounds
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Philemon Griffith of the
Rifle Battalion two thousand Dollars the Allowance made by
the late Act of Assembly
That the said Treasurer pay to Elie Vallette Two hundred
Pounds in Advance per Resolve of the General Assembly
On hearing the Petition of Joshua Stevenson, Job Garretson,
William Bosley, William Jacob and John Ross of Baltimore
County complaining that the Election of Sheriffs for that
County was unduly & unfairly made and conducted and pray-
ing that the said Election might be set aside &ca and on ex-
amining and hearing the Witnesses produced by the said
Petitioners and also by Edward Cockey who were all present
& on hearing the Allegations of all the said Parties. This
Board do adjudge the said Election of Sheriffs for Balto County
valid & effectual notwithstanding any matter or thing alledged
and proved on the said Hearing
