[Council to G. p. Keeports.]
In Council Annapolis 16th Octr 1779
Sir
We have Occasion for a Quantity of Flour and it seems
probable to us that Wheat might readily be got in Exchange
for Powder at the Rate of a Bushel for a Pound. Be pleased
to consult with Mr Hanson who keeps the Mill by Town and
if he thinks it can be done, furnish him from Time to Time
with the Necessary Quantities, get him to exchange it and to
grind up the Wheat taking out the Bran and Shorts only, and
pack it for Removal; if any Thing can be done in this Way,
have the Wheat ground up as it comes in, write us on this
Subject.
We are &ca
Capt Geo. p. Keeports.
