of Maryland Officers not originally appointed by the State
to wit:
Benja Garnett Ist Lieut 5th Regt 13 Octr 1778
Parker Hall Lee Do 4. 16 Octr 1778
Wm Truemann Stoddart Do 5. 21 May 1779
William Adams 2 Lieut 7. 14 April 1778
This Board appoint the said Persons to the respective
Offices aforesaid and request that Commissions may issue
according to their first Appointment.

Present as on yesterday
Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Major
Levin Winder of the Ist Regimt 10 1/2 yards Serge Demin
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Charles Lansdale
One hundred and Fifty Pounds due him per Account passed
by the Aud. Genl

Monday 12th July 1779

Present as on Saturday except T Sim Lee & Danl Carroll
Esquires
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John
Crapper Nineteen Pounds seventeen shillings & Six Pence due
him per Acct passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. John Gordon One
thousand Pounds on Account.

Tuesday 13th July 1779

Present as on Yesterday
Ordered that the Commy of Stores deliver to Capt Geo.
Keeports 40 Coatees, & 20 pr Shoes for the use of the
Recruits in Balto to be delivd to Lt Shelmerdine & Serge
Demin suff' for 2 pr Breeches to be delivd to Colo Forrest, 1 pr to
Lt Bailey 1 pr to Capt Cromwell & 1 pr for Lt Shelmerdine &
1 Blanket for Capt. Lynch
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut
Stephen Shelmerdine of the 4 Regt three thousand Dollars to
be delivered over to Capt. Thomas Cromwell and three
thousand Dollars for himself to be expended in the Recruiting
Service and to be Accounted for
That the said Treasurer pay to John Bullen one thousand
